Mr Ved Pal Joshi, very famous personality, No. 1 attorney of Nabha city, now retired, enjoying his life in California, USA and Nabha, India. He is an inspiration today for many and will be inspiration for many more in the history of man kind. Mr Joshi proudly speaks his heart, having lived, worked with some family members closely and being part of the legal system, the information from city records.

Mr Joshi says, "Maluk Singh was approached by Maharaja (King) to donate land for the shamshan ghat (cremation ground) and also for the Army base. Hearing the word that king asked him for the land. He felt honoured to donate the lands for the cause. The tradition of donations to the city continued later by Bishan Singh son of Maluk Singh and also by Sham Singh son of Bishan Singh. Land was donated for play grounds, for schools. Arya High School land had been donated by this family. And the future generations studied in this school. The tradition continues. Some of the children traveled around the world but have very deep connection with the city. Lal Singh son of Sham Singh is a contributor to the cause. His all children studied in this school."

Mr Joshi proudly blessed Amarjit Singh son of Lal Singh a community contributor and technology evangelist now in USA. We Thank The Honorable Mr Ved Pal Joshi for sharing valuable information documented in Nabha City.
